Comfort

Ryan and I are so blessed to have the most wonderful, trustworthy sitter care for our boys. Its an amazing feeling to have a peaceful night out knowing that Linc and Mac are home having just as much fun as we are. I love to see them light up when they see their Natalie come through the door and, even better, I love to see them snuggled up with her on the couch when Ryan and I come home.

I can't imagine leaving Linc and Mac with someone less than wonderful and I am so thankful that we found someone loving, capable and fun who makes leaving Linc and Mac a litter easier - its good for them and its good for us too.

Mac teasing Momma

Beyond their sweet, loving, even nature Linc and Mac have never had much in common as far as their personalities are concerned. However, recently their personalities are becoming more and more similar when it comes to teasing....Teasing with their Momma, Daddy and each other. They are such wonderful, fun-loving kids and I just can't believe how hard they make me laugh at 8.5 months old. I am not sure how I will contain myself once they start talking.

Here is a clip of my sweet baby Mac. Its lunch time and Linc is still sleeping so Mac and I are sitting around being silly while he leisurely eats his lunch. Out of no where this little man of mine starts shaking his head 'no' in response to everything I say to him. Granted, at 8.5 months of age Mac has no idea what he is 'saying' or doing but he is definitely aware that he is responding to something and it is FUNNY!

Linc has figured out the world

Lately I have noticed that the boys get a little jealous when I play with one of them and not the other. Say I am rolling the ball to Linc, Mac will look at me like "whens my turn?" However, today Linc really stepped up the entire jealousy thing...While I was playing with Mac Linc decided to cry until I stopped playing with Mackey and held him.

At this point I know you are thinking "What kind of mother takes pictures of her crying baby?" Thats easy, the kind that knows he is faking! Yes, the tears are very very real and can be deceiving if you are not present to hear the laughter between each whine (see the next picture!) This kids is a trip, I have to say...its a smart tactic Linc and your desire to be my one and only melts your Mommas heart:)

So, after picking up Linc for a second this is the look I get...Such a Mommas boy!



Through out the drama filled 3 minutes or so baby brother Mac was a quiet little observer - always the people watcher. Dare I say I believe my Mac will be a behavior analyst like his Momma?!?

Ahhh, my beautiful boys....Always entertaining, always sweet and perfectly wonderful!
